Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers is one of the most iconic bands in the history of jazz and served as a training ground for some of the greatest artists of our time.
Modern Art is a Joe Graziosi led project that takes you back to NYC in the 60’s and features compositions and arrangements by such jazz legends as Freddie Hubbard, Wayne Shorter, Lee Morgan, Cedar Walton, Bobby Timmons, Thelonious Monk and more.

Originally from Youngstown, Ohio, Joe has moved around A LOT since leaving his hometown. He has spent time in Columbus, Ohio, then went off to see 6 of the 7 continents, and lived for a significant time in a small village in England. Joe now resides in Brooklyn, New York and has hit the ground running, performing for the 2017 New York Musical Festival (NYMF), playing with some HEAVY jazz icons, and playing party music with some of the best musicians NY has to offer.

Joe has performed with a very diverse list of artists including: Peter Erskine, The Cab Calloway Orchestra, Robin Eubanks, Bill Holman, Norbert Leo Butz, Bobby Floyd, Rumer Willis, Howard Johnson, Tiffany, The Drifters, Ernie Krivda, Matt Wilson, Anthony Wonsey, Kenyatta Beasley, Dwight Adams, and many more.
